Deputy Chief Michael Beckman is a 27-year veteran of the Long Beach Police Department and a proud native of Long Beach, completing his high school and undergraduate education here before earning a Master of Public Administration degree. “I have witnessed firsthand the power and results of prayer,” he says. “More than ever, our communities need prayer. Our city is blessed to have this forum to convene, connect, and be comforted by grace.”
Brent George is a Christian-Soul artist who knew early on that his faith and his music would be working hand in hand, so with a heart to spread his fire, Brent relocated to Los Angeles from Dallas, where he immediately began performing in music venues as well as in church. As a man who is in love with the Lord, and whose music is his vehicle to show it, Brent is excited to be a part of the 34th Annual Long Beach Leadership Prayer Breakfast.
